Sugar Free Chocolate Glaze

Sugar Free chocolate glaze goes great on almost anything that needs sweetening! Especially doughnuts:)))) Medjool dates save the day and naturally sweeten the glaze so you don't have to add any refined sugar. And you can't even tell there isn't any sugar.

Like I said, this glaze is great with anything that needs sweetening, but I did add a rhodes rolls doughnut recipe just incase you want to add the glaze to amazing doughnuts!

INGREDIENTS
DOUGHNUTS:
24 rhodes rolls
vegetable oil

CHOCOALTE GLAZE:
6 oz unsweetened chocolate (100% cacao)
1 3/4 cup almond milk (or any non dairy milk
1 cup (about 12) medjool dates

DIRECTIONS
DONUTS
  1. Put 6-8 frozen Rhodes rolls in the microwave for 20 sec, flip, then another 20 sec. Repeat until you have thawed the amount of donuts you'd like.
  2. Once thawed, make a whole in the middle of the role and place on a plate or pan. Allow to rise for at least an hour.
  3. Place oil into a deep enough pan for frying your donuts. Bring the temperature to 325 F. Place the donuts into the pan and cook each side for about 3 min. Keep a close eye on it!
  4. Once your donuts are done frying, top them with sugar free chocolate glaze!
CHOCOALTE GLAZE
  1. Roughly chop the chocolate into small chunks. Melt in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  2. In a blender, combine the almond milk and dates. Blend on high until combined.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and blend again until combined.
  4. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate at least 4 hours until set.
  5. Dip each doughnut half way into glaze and top it off with sprinkles or coconut.
