Donuts


You are never going to believe how easy it is to make these doughnuts! They take under 40 minutes to make, and you don't have to make the dough! Plus you can top them off with just about anything. Cinnamon and sugar, chocolate frosting, powdered sugar... even jam or peanut butter! They are seriously amazing.



INGREDIENTS
24 Rhodes rolls
Vegetable oil (for frying)

1/4 cup butter
2 Tbsp milk
6 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 cups powdered sugar

cinnamon/sugar topping, powdered sugar topping, sprinkles, etc.

DIRECTIONS
DONUTS:
  1. Put 6-8 frozen Rhodes rolls in the microwave for 20 sec, flip, then another 20 sec. Repeat until you have thawed the amount of donuts you'd like. 
  2. Once thawed, make a whole in the middle of the role and place on a plate or pan. Allow to rise for at least an hour.
  3. Place oil into a deep enough pan for frying your donuts. Bring the temperature to 325 F. Place the donuts into the pan and cook each side for about 3 min. Keep a close eye on it!
  4. Once your donuts are done frying, top them with your choosing!

FROSTING:
  1. Place butter in sauce pan at low-medium heat
  2. Once butter is melted, add the milk, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Stir until well combined - add more powdered sugar to thicken to your preference.
  3. Enjoy :)
